Looking for a wedding photographer in Kerry? Look no further! Niall photographs weddings in Kerry venues such as Kenmare, Killarney, Tralee, Waterville and Dingle. With some great locations and hotels for your big day Kerry wedding photographers are a bit spoiled so make sure you get a fresh twist on your photographs, not just the same old picture postcard look. www.niallmcgann.com

email up again

My e-mail and contact form are now up and running once again. If you have sent any e-mails on Tuesday 1st or Wednesday 2nd April, please re-send now. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

new website up but email down…

My new website finally went live today. An overhaul was long overdue but I’ve kept it as simple and clean looking as possible and hopefully it is now an easier viewing experience. The blog still needs some work to bring it up to date but I’ll get there with that shortly.

As with all things technical, the last hour is always the hardest! My e-mail is currently down and I expect it to be so for 24-48 hours while I have the new server addresses sorted. If you need to contact me before then, please call me on +353 87 0573438.

In the meantime have a look!                  http://www.niallmcgann.com

Back in the saddle again…

For 2008 and 2009, I decided to limit the number of weddings that I would take on. I’ve taken some downtime at the start and end of the year to concentrate on some other projects.

Patricks weekend is as good as any to kick start the season properly so it was off to Kenmare to catch up with Aoife and Gavin. Kenmare is picture postcard country as Aoife well knows (being in the local post office!!) so I had to put her in the scenery here and there around town.

Clare & Sheamus

Thankfully the bride wears white as Clare is an identical twin! This was another Killarney Cathedral wedding with the reception being held at the Killarney Oaks hotel. It was my first wedding at this hotel but it’s rapidly gaining popularity as a Killarney wedding venue and rightly so.

Fiona & David

Fiona and David married this month at the Cathedral in Killarney with a great reception afterwards at the Malton. It was a case of divided duties for Fiona’s father who has served as Sacristan at the Cathedral for the past 47 years. Always attentive to detail, Tadhg donned the cloak and oversaw proceedings at the alter to ensure all went smoothly. He need not have worried however as there were 10 priests and the Bishop of Kerry helping out, so I don’t think anyone was about to forget their lines!

Christmas wedding II

Another Christmas wedding – more rain, sleet, biting cold and great craic! Sunny Summer days are for wimps, just ask these two…

Christmas wedding

I headed to Cordal for Eileen and Enda’s bash over Christmas week. The rain started in the morning and didn’t let up all day. Another good Cork and Kerry union.

In the heart of the Gaeltacht again…

I went down to another good Kerry Gaeltacht region for the wedding of Helena and Gavin. They braved the cold weather to get down to a local beach for some great shots before heading for the Malton in Killarney.

Helen & John

A good Kerry wedding but we headed further up to the west coast to Clare for the service and the reception. The bad weather held off so we got to play with a helicopter for the day – always a bonus when you are caught for time!

It was a good dry day for November and the attentive staff at Dromoland Castle make any wedding a bit more special.
